Herbie Burger: (J) Tasted like a veggie burger. They include a whole wheat bun to complete the healthy choice. (S) Tasted too healthy. The "meat" was crumbly, wasn't a big fan of that crumbly texture.

JuicyBurger: (J) Burger was moist, but once broken down it became chewy. (S) Not as good as other places, but not horrible.

Poutine: with root beer. (J) I haven't had poutine in a long time. This was really good, and it had real cheese curds too. (S) This was the highlight of the meal, too bad we ate it so quickly.

Pulled Pork Sandwich: with regular sauce. (J) A recent WagJag deal gave us a sandwich and a drink for $5. I was tempted by a Volcano Sauce option, but decided to try the original. It had a good smoked flavour and the sauce wasn't too sweet. Meat was moist. (S) This was a mouthful of meat, and the bun was soft. Yumm!

Andouille Sausage Sandwich: with sautéed onions. (J) The sausage had an interesting flavour. Pretty dry compared to the pulled pork sandwich. (S) I didn't really taste sausage until *burrrp. I think the meat tasted like freezer burn :s

Lunch Buffet: pasta, mushrooms, bread, asparagus, ham, salmon, ribs, beef, potato, salami, cheese, mushroom soup. Desserts: wedding cake, fruits, cheese, eclairs, cheesecake and cookies.

(S) Ribs were so good. I also really liked the cold pasta, and the soup was really nice. The desserts were really good too! I liked the cheesecake on a stick, a slice would have been too rich. I enjoyed the chocolate wedding cake and the yummy cookies.
(J) Mushroom soup was good and earthy. I really liked the ribs; I wish I ate more. Good variety of desserts. I was so full I couldn't try any fruit or cheese.

Veggie Burger: with sweet potato fries. (J) I ate fajitas first, so the burger didn't really taste like anything. I always like sweet potato fries. (S) The burger was cold when I got it, but the sweet potato fries made up for it. They tasted so good.

Chicken Fajitas: served on a tower. Top: cheese, lettuce, guacamole and salsa; middle: tortillas; bottom: chicken, onions and peppers. (J) I appreciated the vertical presentation with the limited table space we had. Chicken and onions were grilled nicely. There was a lingering spice, which I thought was from the salsa at first, but was later determined to be from the onions. (S) Spiiiicy, haaaaaaaaah.
