Sweet Potato Fries: side dish. (J) Thick cut, fresh and hot from the kitchen. Balanced with the cold ketchup. We got this even though the two dinner plates had enough food for two meals each. Thank goodness for leftover takeout boxes. (S) I stuffed this down even though I was so full. So good!

Goat Roti: with coleslaw. (J) We specifically asked for gravy on top because last time we didn't get any. They didn't have any boneless goat, but the bones were minimal. (S) This was just a bit spicy, but I got used to it. I really like the coleslaw.

Jammin' Jerk Chicken: large dinner plate, with coleslaw and rice & peas. (J) Large comes with an extra chicken leg and spoon of rice for $1 extra. I love the spice level of their jerk chicken. I had a tingly party in my mouth. (S) Omg, soooo spicy. I guess I never learn. My mouth was on FIRE!

Potato & Chana Roti: (J) I wanted to add spinach to this, but they didn't have any ready yet. (S) Yumm...goat roti (next).

Goat Roti: (J) Good chunks of boneless goat. (S) I <3

Doubles: (J) It was still being made when ordered, so the dough was crisp. (S) Fresh fried goodness, yumm.

Sahiena: spinach fritter made with split pea flour, herbs and a hint of garlic. (J) A bit dry because ours didn't come with sauce like the menu said. I prefer doubles. (S) Agreed.

House Special: jerk chicken with rice and peas, served with vegetables and salad. (J) Chicken was more sweet than spicy. (S) It was good, it wasn't spicy.

Goat Roti: boneless goat slowly curried, served with salad. (S) Ohh so good, hit the spot.

Goat roti: (S) Last time we had boneless goat, but this time the bones were huge. Boo. Coleslaw was good as always. There wasn't as much sauce on top as last time. (J) Yeah lots of bones and fat. Kinda dry without the sauce on top. It was better the last time we had it.

Jerk chicken sandwich: with coleslaw and sweet potato fries. (S) Jerk Chicken was spiiiicy. The sweet potato fries were good though, yumm! (J) I really liked the sandwich. I'd buy it to eat on the go. Fries were thick and tasty.

Chana roti: (J) I like chick peas. Had a pleasant spice, but a little salty. (S) I kept spilling the chana, sheesh!

Doubles and goat roti: (S) The goat wasn't as tender as other places that I've tried, and it wasn't as saucy. I kept spilling the chana in the doubles too!

Doubles: curried chick peas sandwiched between two flat brads. Came with a tamarind(?) sauce. (J) My first time eating doubles and I will definitely continue. Double doubles or triple doubles anyone? (S) When I first smelled this, I think I said something like, "Mmm...smells like comfort."

Stewed Oxtail: marinated in seasoning and cooked w/island love. (J) My first time eating oxtail and it was tender and delicious.

Goat Roti: boneless goat slowly curried. (S) Soooo good. I have a thing for goat roti now *drools

Jerk fries: side dish. (J) The taste got lost with the other spicy dishes. I should have ordered the sweet potato fries. (S) Initial reaction: ok, this is spicy, not too too bad though.

Jerk chicken: medium size. (J) Same good stuff as last time, but the coleslaw was more fresh. (S) Initial reaction: HOLY, this is SPICY! I was sweating buckets! But damn, the meat just falls off the bone, and coleslaw so refreshing.

Roti: curry goat in dahl pourri roti. (J) The roti was huge and filled with tender goat. (S) Initial reaction: Is this supposed to be spicy? My tongue was already burning from the Jerk Chicken, so the roti tasted sweet to me. I enjoyed the goat roti a lot, it cooled my mouth down.
